Terms of use

Shik is an online booking platform for beauty salons, owned by Merot DOOEL Skopje. By using shik.mk, app.shik.mk and the Shik and Shik Pro apps, you accept these terms.

For clients

• An appointment is an agreement between you and the salon. Shik does not charge clients and does not ask for a card.
• Cancelling and rescheduling are possible until the deadline that each salon sets itself and that is shown when booking.
• A salon may refuse clients who have repeatedly not shown up for an appointment.
• Reminders arrive on Viber, WhatsApp or SMS at the number you confirmed.

For salons

• The Starter profile is free. The Solo and Studio plans are billed monthly or yearly by invoice; the payment term is 14 days.
• An unpaid invoice leads to online booking being paused after 14 days and a return to Starter after 30 days.
• The salon is responsible for the accuracy of the information, prices and photos on its profile.
• Placement (featured, spotlight, boost) is sold for a set period and does not guarantee a number of bookings.

General

• Shik may remove profiles with false or offensive content.
• The service is provided “as is”; Merot is not liable for damage caused by clients who do not show up or by interruptions of the service.
• Governing law: the law of the Republic of North Macedonia.
